SECONDS Fjord blue spoon rest

This listing is for a single, handmade, wheel-thrown spoon rest. Made from high-fired stoneware clay and finished in a glossy, varied blue glaze, these are rustic, unique and suitable for dishwashers.

These are part of my 'Seconds' collection - I accidentally used the wrong clay, a smooth buff coloured clay instead of speckled! They are otherwise lovely with no actual imperfections.

Size (approx) - 12cm diameter (cooking spoon/spatula sized)

I choose to sell my seconds so that my customers can benefit from a big discount whilst still being able to enjoy handmade ceramics. It also means nothing goes to waste - a lot of hard work and care goes into each piece and unfortunately some seconds are inevitable. I like knowing that these pieces can still be used and enjoyed.

When handled and washed with usual care, the lifespan of the items should not be affected. Kitchenware seconds are still dishwasher, microwave and oven safe.
